HPO becomes Hamilton Phil

Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra says new identity ‘honours the orchestra's rich history while presenting a bold contemporary vision for its future.’

The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra has unveiled a new identity: Hamilton Phil.

The orchestra announced the change with a video released Tuesday.

“The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra is proud to share our new visual identity and logo that honours the orchestra's rich history while presenting a bold contemporary vision for its future,” says the video’s voiceover.

“The new identity is part of Hamilton Phil's continued commitment to building a stronger connection with audiences across Hamilton and beyond.”

The orchestra says it will continue its “commitment to building a stronger connection with audiences across Hamilton and beyond. From iconic symphonic works and new music to collaborations, community engagement and innovative experiences, the orchestra continues to explore new ways to grow and sustain Hamilton’s vibrant arts scene through orchestral music.”

The orchestra’s new brand identity was developed with Toronto-based marketing company Haft2.
